Part 1: The Library

I paid my late fees for the library as a few bats walked out the door

One playing the organ, a few playing games, like Snakes and Ladders, galore

Monopoly was a fun and appealing game for the bats too

But the noise made them shut down, it was whispered on the intercom

"Fine," one said, "I'll play my organ at the Mariana Trench instead,"

"Where the taste of the water is more like crusted mango juice spilled on your head."

But that's not the only unusual thing around my nook of the suburbs
