WINDOW

I look outside

To see what the curtains hide

Here are bushes, buildings, trees

Withering flowers, once surrounded by bees

A world lit by the dimming light

Crunchy leaves, left and right

Autumn sweeps over the treetops

The season's color pops

As the sky grows dark

Night arrives as swiftly as a lark

The trees are silver in the moonlight
