Soft grass-green leaves

Edged with black & red

A wondrous sight the plant weaves

Graceful long stem reaches to where it's fed

Towards the sun it shall always bend

Clusters of buds with peeking pink ends

Soon they will open, freshly bloomed

Dark pink geraniums, they brighten the room

Full glory, finally assumed
