Part 2: My Story

Do you remember the library I talked about yesterday?

Bats walking in and out, lounging in some trench

Well, you might ask, how is that abnormal for me,

Used to these crazy scenes

I visited my family in the more simple areas

Modern, contemporary, not crazy like this.

Childhood memories came flooding back to me

Wherever I went, there was a hint of crazy

I stepped into a city, the chimpanzees went berserk

There was something odd about me

Even my footsteps were peculiar

But now, it's even worse, oh my dear.

You don't even want to know my greatest fear

Yours might be snakes, or spiders, or even scorpions

But mine might seem simple

To not topple over an obelisk.

Oh dear, I'm sorry, I'm sure you're annoyed

"Who is this girl, we don't need to hear her tales of distress"

Well I apologize, I promise I'll tell

About my grocery store tomorrow, mademoiselle.
