Daily Tot 6/1/22

DISCLAIMER: I rushed through this, and wrote it in like 5 minutes, so it's probably not that good. As you can see it's the next poem in the Effulgence At Exchange Place series and it's supposed to be about the sundial.

The Spectacular Sundial

Light gleams on gray

Ever shining rays

Grass emerald green

Where few have been

Hidden just away from where

Many crowd often

The city there

Has hidden this spot

Where children climb

Where silence has been sought

Where the river is blue and deep

And into the sky seems to seep

There it gleams

Caressed by the sunbeams

The device that measures seconds by the sunlight

A truly spectacular sight
