We had fear,
Now I'll add some terror
This place is quite queer
To come in is rare, to leave is rarer

A castle stands tall
Away from all but the wind
The breeze's sweet call
Lures visitors in
Dark pines loom
Over bloodstained walls
Death's sour perfume
In midnight halls
Skin so pale it's white as bones
You can hear their ghastly moans
Nothing brings solace in the gloom
You will walk till you reach your doom
In dark the moon shines bright
Night creeps in
Shutting out the light
All you can see
In the dim glow
Cobwebs and debris
All that night wants to show
If you close your eyes
Perhaps you can pretend
That this place will not bring your end
But even in the dark
The whispers are clear
This is a place, of spine tingling fear
Don't look ahead,
For they are behind you
Heed what I said
You might just make it through
Keep walking, go on
Till you reach the room,
Where it is certain
You will meet doom
Are you tired, now?
You can go to sleep
The most terrifying things
Are in your own mortal keep
When your eyes slide shut
And your breathing is slow
Your nightmares will eat you
And the castle will know
