The Daily Tot 5/3/22

Oh. My. GOODNESS! This poem is from June 18th 2020. It's that old! Yet it's so full of hope for the future that never came. I WAS SO NAIVE!!

It's a poem from the year quarantine started about what I had thought back then to be the whole experience. 2 Years later, we all know better...

While the world is in quarantine

We can admire the beauty we see

As coronavirus flees

unapologetically

We can only hope that things get better

Wondering at home in our sweaters

Whether it will end sooner or later

Home is our new lair

Thats true even for the mayor

Covid flees? *snort* It is such a sad poem. WOW. JUST WOW.
