Today I bring to you the first installment of a new story I am writing. I'll give you a chapter every now and then. This story is set in the hidden continent of Lumiera, an undiscovered continent that has kept it's self hidden from the rest of us using it's clever technology. Before I give you the first part of the story, I'm going to give you the background knowledge on Lumiera that you will need to understand the world the story takes place in

Transportation

Most travel is by Orbit or the SIlver Railway. Cars are not used in Lumiera and in place of roads, lunar reflectors cover spaces between sidewalks, so that moonlight and starlight will shine on the houses at night in place of streetlamps.

Orbit

Personal winged carriages that you can use to drive anywhere in Lumiera. As it floats and runs on lunar panels, Orbit carriages do not use roads and can be immensely comfortable as different height levels can be adjusted and an Orbit accident has never happened since the 1921 meteor disaster.

Silver Railway

A railroad that goes over most of Lumiera except Orion Island. It has stations in every city and town of Lumiera and is the most popular way of transportation in Lumiera.
