Hello there, Tater Tots! It's the last day we're going to 'see the world' together, so let's read a relieved, happy poem about vans, cars, RVs, or whatever else you perceived the image on the calendar as.
Road Trip - The Drive
After a nice day outside
Exploring the great wild
We settle in at home
Across the roads of the Isle
Someone's in the driver's seat
The rest of us are bouncing about
Open the fridge, chop some peppers
Turn this home into a restaurant on tires on the street
The whole ride is so calming
Watch the trees pass into plains
Close off the road trip with a sigh
And be blown back into the seat with the wind
That's all for this week, but it's the perfect time to submit your poems to be featured in any of next week's posts! The instructions and links to send me your work are in the post linked below. Happy National Poetry Month!
